Voluntary, informed participation
Participation is always voluntary. Before we begin, we explain who we are, the general topic, roughly how long it will take and how the data will be used. Declining or stopping at any point has no consequences.
Our commitments to respondents, clients, society and our team. Based on the ICC/ESOMAR International Code, ABEP standards, Brazil’s data protection law (LGPD) and ISO 20252.

“A survey is only worth something if the people answering trust the people asking.”
People who answer our surveys trust us with their time and opinions. That is our most important commitment.
Participation is always voluntary. Before we begin, we explain who we are, the general topic, roughly how long it will take and how the data will be used. Declining or stopping at any point has no consequences.
We never use research as a pretext for selling, promoting products or collecting contacts for marketing. Research and commercial activities are always kept separate.
We handle personal data in line with the LGPD, collect only what we need and keep identifying information separate from answers. Results are analyzed in aggregate, and respondents’ identities are never shared without their express consent.
Interviews with children and teenagers require consent from a parent or guardian. With people in vulnerable situations, we take extra care with language, consent and protection.
We avoid unnecessary or uncomfortable questions, handle sensitive topics with care and respect participants’ time and privacy.
Clients who commission research need to trust the method and the results.
We clearly describe each study’s sample, method, fieldwork period and limitations. We never leave out information that could change how the results are read.
We report results as they are. We don’t adjust data or conclusions to meet expectations, and our recommendations are based on evidence.
Client information, data and results are confidential and only disclosed with authorization. Any conflict of interest is disclosed before work begins.
Research shapes public and private decisions, so how it is published matters.
Published results must include essential technical information, such as sample, period, method and margin of error. If one of our results is published in a misleading way, we work to correct it.
We comply with Brazilian law, including the LGPD and the specific rules for each type of study, as well as the ICC/ESOMAR International Code, ABEP standards and the requirements of ISO 20252.
Ethics is also how we work with one another.
Interviewers and analysts are trained to act respectfully, identify themselves correctly and follow each study’s procedures. We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination or disrespect of any kind.
We neither offer nor accept improper benefits. Our dealings with government bodies and partners comply with Brazil’s anti-corruption law (Law No. 12,846/2013) and the principles of transparency.
Respondents, clients, employees and partners can report any conduct that goes against these principles. Every report is reviewed confidentially, and no one who reports in good faith will face retaliation.
